Our Weekly Review

It has been two weeks since we launched, and our thanks goes out to everyone who has visited the site, read a review, and/or helped spread the word about The Sweet Setup.

Here are some highlights of what’s been recently published. You can also stay up to date by following us on Twitter or RSS.

New Favorite Apps

Our favorite recipe app is Paprika. We tested and cooked with several, and Paprika was clearly the best app for organizing all your favorite recipes, and for using to plan, save, shop, and cook.

The best iPhone client for App.net is Riposte. It’s easy and fun-to-use, and is an ideal app for new users as well as power users of App.net.

The most popular apps so far

If you have a second, check out our Popular page to see which apps have settled in as the most popular so far as voted by you guys, the readers. Currently the number-one most popular app is Day One.

Sweet Mac Setup

This week, Matt Gemmell shared his setup with us. Matt Gemmell is a consultant user experience designer and software engineer, mostly for iOS apps. He’s also a speaker and writer.

Quick Tip

This week’s quick tip is for OmniFocus users. Here’s how to archive completed tasks in OmniFocus for faster syncing.

Sponsor: The New Glif

Our thanks to Studio Neat for sponsoring the site this week. Check out the new Glif, it’s a smartphone accessory with two primary functions: mounting your phone onto a tripod, and propping your phone up at various angles. The design is simple, yet out of this simple design emerges countless uses.
