Some of our favorite apps are on sale now

Apple is running a sale on productivity apps for iOS and Mac. This category tends to produce some of the more expensive apps on the App Store, so if you’ve ever held off purchasing any of the apps below, now is your chance to score a good deal on some incredible apps that are easily worth a lot more.

Our friends over at MacStories have compiled a complete list of all the great apps that are currently on sale. Be sure to check that out as well.

Worth checking out

Launch Center Pro for iPhone: ($4.99 → $1.99) and Launch Center Pro for iPad: ($4.99 → $1.99)

For those who want to get the most out of their iOS experience and do it all from one place, Launch Center Pro is the app of choice. Launch Google searches, create events in Fantastical, search music on Spotify, set up a daily AM questionnaire with an alarm reminder, and much, much more. A good resource for useful LCP actions is the MacStories “iOS Automation” archive.

Fantastical 2 for iPad: $9.99 → $7.99

Everything we loved about Fantastical 2 for iPhone is also true for the iPad version. There’s just no beating its natural-language input and bevy of power-user features. The recent 2.1 update only solidified our opinion that Fantastical is the best calendar app out there.

PCalc: $9.99 → $4.99

The best professional-grade calculator app has lots of power features but values its user interface above all.

Clear for iOS: ($4.99 → $1.99) and Clear for Mac: ($9.99 → $4.99)

we think Clear is the best simple to-do list app out there. What it lacks in power-user features (when compared to more complex and robust apps such as OmniFocus), it more than makes up for with speed, ease of use, flexibility, and delightful design.

PDF Expert 5: $9.99 → $4.99

The absolute best PDF manager out there. Allows you to easily annotate and sign PDF documents, plus so much more.
