Our brand new course, All the Things, launches in just one week.
We’ve been hinting at it over the past month, and we’re now ready to share the actual launch date: Tuesday, February 13.
This is, by far, the most comprehensive training we have ever done here at The Sweet Setup. It is focused entirely on productivity and task management, and there is quite a bit more to it than just the tutorials for mastering Things 3. This course will give you some great tips and tricks for fine-tuning your task management and daily focus.
There is a sort of inefficiency that comes with using both digital and analog tools for managing your tasks and your day. And that inefficiency is a feature, not a bug.
I have a “hybrid” productivity system that I’ve been using for about five years now, and it works very well for me.
I call it the Hybrid Method because it combines digital and analog. I use Things (digital) and a Baron Fig notebook (analog).
This used to happen to me on a regular basis: I would hit the hotkey to bring up the Things Quick Entry window… but nothing would happen.
After waiting a few seconds wondering where it was, I’d realize that Things wasn’t even running. So, I would then launch Things, let it load, and then hit the quick entry hotkey once again to capture that initial task.
Now, I let my computer do the thinking for me in those moments. I created a script that takes care of all this and I call it OopsieThings.
