1Password, the best password manager, announced a new subscription tier this week. John Voorhees (MacStories) wrote a great summary of the new change for 1Password, and offers some insights into how this new plan makes it easier than ever for people to use 1Password across their devices. This new plan seems to round out the different options between Teams, Families, and (now) Individuals. Of course, if you’d rather stick with the non-1Password subscription model, that’s still completely supported.

This week, Jason Snell (Six Colors) and David Sparks (MacSparky) announced a brand new podcast that they are hosting on RelayFM. The theme and focus of this show is something that will likely interest many of our readers: dealing with the many challenges and issues involved with setting out as an independent worker after spending a couple of decades in a traditional employment situation.
