One of the common complaints with iCloud Drive is that it doesn’t have all of the features of Dropbox or Google Drive. Specifically, you don’t have the ability to restore deleted files like you could with Dropbox. Thanks to a tip from a Twitter friend, I discovered that Apple added this feature to iCloud.com.
To restore files, sign into your iCloud account through the browser, and go to Settings → Data & Security. You can then browse a list of files in the Recover Documents tab. Files are removed from Recover Documents after 30 days, so don’t wait long to restore something. While I’d like this to be built into OS X and iOS, this is a great start!
