A few iPhone X tips and tricks
With the iPhone X, some of the most common tasks have slightly changed. Here are a couple tricks to remember:
To take a screenshot on iPhone X, press the sleep/wake and the volume up button at the same time.
To bring up the Apple Pay menu on iPhone X, double tap on the sleep/wake button.
Sometimes a hard reset on an iOS device can fix any weirdness. On iPhone X, it’s a completely new process.
- Press and release the volume up button.
- Press and release the volume down button.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button until you see the Apple logo.
Turn iPhone X Off
Hold the sleep/wake button and either volume button together at the same time. You’ll then see the slide to power off prompt appear at the top of your screen.
You can also go to Settings → General → Shut Down as well.
