David Barnard’s sweet iPhone setup

Who are you and what do you do?
I’m David Barnard, the founder of Contrast. We build iOS apps.
What iPhone do you have?
iPhone 5S. You can find my wallpaper here.
What apps do you use the most, and why?
Listacular is now my todo/note taking app of choice. I absolutely love that everything presented in the app is just plain text in .txt or .md files on Dropbox. I use Basecamp for the heavy lifting of project management, so I just don’t need something like OmniFocus to manage the rest of my todos.
There’s one app on my homescreen that I wish I used more often, but just don’t: Basecamp. Their desktop web app is great (for a web app anyway), and I actually like doing some stuff via email, but find their iOS app convoluted, which is really unfortunate.
I spend way more time than I’d like to admit in Tweetbot. It’s such a well-built app and has so many great features that improve my experience of Twitter.
Which app could you not live without?
Launch Center Pro. I know it’s lame to plug my own app, but honestly, it just so deeply changes the way I use iOS that I have a hard time using my iPhone without it. It’s not always obvious how much I even use the app, but anytime we’re working new features and I have to change my Launch Center Pro setup for testing, I’m completely lost.
